Fellow firearms and archery shooting enthusiasts-

We would like to thank everyone who attended the annual meeting in February. Your input and ideas for the club is important and appreciated. The elected board of directors and officers are listed below with their phone numbers. Feel free to contact one of us if you need to. All monthly meetings are open to all members and will be held the first Thursday of every month at 8:00p.m. in the basement of F.B. Macs in Canton; from April to September they will be held at the gun club at 8:00 p.m.

New for 2008

*This year we are going to try a new program for the member’s use of the east trap house. Do from the lack of money being paid for rounds of trap shooting. You now must purchase clays at Pump n Go video to be used in the public use trap and there will be no round charge. The clays will be priced at $15 a case (5 rounds in a case). If you paid last years price of $5 dollars a round the case of clays would have cost you $27. The clays at Pump n Go video store is what the trap machine is setup to use. Do not bring your own clays. Other clays will break and plug the machine. If this problem is still happens the gun club will stop this opportunity for the members to use the trap machine.

*Trap League Night will now be Shoot Night. The club will have Youth trap, Adult trap and pistol league together on Wed. nights.

*This year we will also have a very special event at the gun club. Inspiration Hills will be having their First Annual Sportsman’s Retreat. On April 18th and 19th they will have Trap shooting, 22 shooting, and an Archery 3 D course. If interested in attending the event call Inspiration Hills at (712)-986-5193 or (866)-858-3265

Note on April 18th and 19th the gun club will be closed to normal member use along with other events in the Schedule.

* If have any questions or concerns on the new items for 2008 Please call one of the Board members or come in to one of the monthly meetings. Comments Welcomed
